Through the lens of social media, self-image can be unbalanced. The user can curate an image of themselves, but not how others perceive this image. Through an immersive installation, viewers will be asked to reflect upon their identity and how modern cultural and societal factors feed into this façade. By placing themselves inside the mirrored box, each individual viewer will be faced with their own image. Others outside of this box will be able to see through the mirrors, as well as the surrounding environment. A critique of self is reflected within this introspective space. Created with mirrors, vinyl, and mixed media.
